The Gospel of G’Kar: The River of Truth
Abstract
This work is a fictional philosophical reconstruction inspired by the character of G’Kar from Babylon 5. Told through the voice of a Centauri archivist writing a century after G’Kar’s disappearance, it attempts to preserve the fragments of his teaching — fragments scattered across rumor, testimony, and myth. The collected scripture explores themes of truth, suffering, self-reflection, and the unity of all beings, presented as contemplative verses meant to evoke the style and spirit of the Narn philosopher. It is not doctrine, but homage — a river of ideas in which readers may glimpse the echoes of wisdom.

The reconstructed text contains eleven cantos and an epilogue, including:
- On the Beginning of Questions — Truth begins not with answers, but with courage to ask.
- On the Waters of Understanding — Faith as river, growth, and surrender.
- On Pain as Teacher — Suffering as illumination when faced without fear.
- On the River of Time — Time looping upon itself; guilt and hope drawing from one source.
- Epilogue — The disappearance of the Teacher between history and legend.
